Before we even got started with the installation, they walked me through everything to the finest detail. When the installer showed up they were very open to ideas of where the pipe should go, provided a better suggestion to enhance anesthetics as well and worked very cleaningly by vacuuming and mopping up everything.The other thing I really loved was the constant communication, they had a real time map of where their insulation truck was as well as a lit of text based contact for quick information.

There was the typical noise of installation, but the team wasn’t disruptive at all. I want to share my experience that I had with Radon Be Gone. I had three companies give me proposals. Matt from Radon Be Gone was the most knowledgeable on how to set the system up and gave the best options for piping it through the crawl space and outside. They were able to run it through the attic and out the roof. There is no outside visibility to my neighbors.The two fellas, Travis and Bill, worked extremely hard to run it between the joists and out my garage where it is out of the way. They worked quickly and were very professional. My radon went from 33.9 to.3!!Ask for Travis and Bill as they are super!!!

A number of other neighbors used RBG for their mitigation systems so we called and got a quote. They were able to install the system in one week, we had them paint the outside PVC pipes to match the house. The pre-system radon score was a 17, four days after it was installed, the score is 1.6. Overall very happy with the service and results.

We had a great experience with Radon Be Gone. During our home inspection they found levels of 24.9 in the cellar. After mitigation, the level is down to 0.8 on the first floor. Everyone we encountered at the company was polite, professional, and helpful.RBG was not the first company I tried. The other company gave a quote and then came out to install and on installation told me that they wouldn't be able to do it after all because of crawl space encapsulation issues. They told me to call Basement Authority and then maybe try them back and when BA came out they said the encapsulation was fine and recommended RBG to get the job done. They were much more thorough than the first company during the consult. Because our house is so old (1900) they did not want to give the <4 guarantee, and I was expecting this to be a multiple-trip situation, but they were able to get it done in one go. I wish I had gone to RBG in the first place.

My wife and I purchased a house and with that purchase came a radon test. The numbers measured a bit high so we wanted to install a mitigation system. We called 3-4 different local companies and Radon-B-Gone was the first to respond back and did so quickly. They were able to give us a quote in less than 24 hours (so quick the sellers agreed to pay half for the system!!). Then they called to schedule an installation date and they gave every option available until one was just right for us. Installation crew showed up right on time at 8am on installation day and had the system up and running in less than 3 hours. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great quality system with a business who’s communication is second to none. Thank you for helping me and my family with such excellent service. The installers were prompt and friendly. The staff at the office is very helpful. I would recommend their service to anyone! The only thing I would add is that if you have a water mitigation system in your basement, it will need to be sealed. You can do it yourself or you can have the installers do it for a fee. The sealant can be quite strong smelling, it gave me a bit of a headache, but it will dissipate from your home in about 24-48 hours. If you have questions about the sealant, ask them and they will work with whatever you need. Opening a window or two will usually take care of it. If you do not have a water mitigation system it may not bother you at all.Once again, great installers, great staff, great company. Highly recommend.

Our home was testing between 10 and 18 pci/L pre installation. Furthermore, our house is slab on grade, partial basement, and was added onto throughout the years, so we had multiple separate slabs to contend with. Because of this, I knew mitigation was not going to be simple. Matt from Radon be Gone came out with a floor plan of my home, and we went through the different options for extraction points and fan locations. I also had construction drawings of our home which helped delineate the location of separate slabs. Matt reviewed all this info thoroughly and designed a system that was specific to our unique situation, which consisted of 5 extraction points. He even came out a second time to amend the design when I found new information on a drawing. He was then on-site the entire day with his install crew performing the work to ensure it was done as designed. As part of the process, they conducted pressure testing with micrometers to confirm we had suction across all slabs. Once the system was in place, we ultimately tested at .6pci/L throughout the entire house. I can’t thank them enough for the peace of mind I’ve received knowing my 1 year old son won’t grow up breathing radon in our home.

A+ service. I had an independent radon inspection that showed I had high levels through my house. My inspector recommended Radon Be Gone as a possible solution. I found positive reviews online so I contacted them about installing a mitigation system. They quickly set up an appointment, inspected my house and gave me a price for instillation. We set up another appointment and they installed my system for the quoted price. Everyone involved was professional and efficient. The system works great and my radon levels were reduced to under the acceptable level. I would highly recommend this company and I plan on using them again if my sump pump ever needs replaced which is also a service they provide.

The measure of good business is usually not when things go perfectly, but how they respond when things go wrong. Wires were crossed on the contract and the work-order, and what was done was not what was asked/paid for initially.We called and sent a few pictures and not only did Radon Be Gone address it immediately, they explained what happened and how they were going to immediately fix it at no additional cost to us.The service quality was impeccable and the technicians were prompt, professional, and polite.Sometimes things don't go according to plan, but a five-star business responds immediately and strives for excellence. To the folks at Radon Be Gone and potential customers,Lengthy-but hopefully insightfulRecently I learned that radon was present in my house and the intelligent thing to do is to have it mitigated. This occurred at the onset of the pandemic and the Governor's briefings and closures.I had read plenty of positive reviews about Radon Be Gone and they came personally recommended from a couple people I trust.At the time Radon Be Gone was not operating until they felt they had a great grasp of safety protocols for their staff and customers. I did have a few other companies come out, take a look, and provide a quote but my gut told me to wait if possible for Radon Be Gone to be operational.I spoke to Portia several times and she was very knowledgeable, reassuring, and answered a lot of questions I had, now that I had some time to learn about the gas itself and how companies mitigate it.Brad came out and did an honest assessment and again answered a host of questions. Due to previous reviews, their treatment of me, and the similar price to other companies, I chose Radon Be Gone.I was a bit nervous because I had finished the basement a couple years prior. For anyone that plans to finish their basement, check for Radon first. You have less options once you finish it. The day the job was to be completed, the vehicles were in my drive a few minutes early, which I liked. The guys: Larry, Walker and Ian were all very cooperative and professional. I was able to watch and learn without feeling like I was snooping. The holes in my side brick and facial wall and the foundation were precision. We couldn't have picked a better spot for the system. It is unobtrusive in the utility room and is not visible from the sides of the house that matter. They explained the system and how it works and some small other need to know items. They caulked all the exterior hardware and sealed and cleaned everything.For those of you that may be concerned about their Covid safety protocols- I was very comfortable with how they operated.Post installation of the equipment, they retested the Radon Levels in my house and I was not only under the accepted level, but significantly under. The report of the test and other details were provided in a very timely manner. As a matter of fact the gentleman, forgot his name, (sorry) text me the results immediately.I know this is probably a lengthy post, but hope it provides useful insight and my recommendation of using Radon Be Gone if you need to have Radon Mitigation.
