A certified measurement professional conducts accurate radon testing, interprets results against EPA action levels, and supports the development of an effective mitigation strategy when levels are elevated. NRPP-certified professionals follow standardized protocols and quality assurance procedures recognized by state and federal regulators.
Multifamily structures require measurement methods tailored to shared foundations, complex indoor pathways, HVAC interactions, and varying regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. ANSI/AARST measurement protocols for multifamily, school, and commercial buildings (MA-MFLB), a standard Kenny contributes to, provide the framework for this specialized work.
OM&M involves ongoing inspection, testing, and data monitoring of mitigation systems to ensure long-term effectiveness. In some cases it is required by regulatory agencies. Beyond compliance, OM&M allows property owners to optimize occupant health, maintain indoor environmental quality, and achieve formal site closure or regulatory sign-off.
