After a radon test, I found radon at an exceptionally high level and I needed a mitigation system installed. I had gotten a few quotes and Protect Environmental was the best price. On the phone, they walked through the entire process and I received a thorough quote. Onsite, Alex walked me through what he was going to do, and showed me a few important things to look out for if I get a warning. I just completed my post-install radon test, and the numbers were in the Ideal Range. They did a great job, I would recommend.

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. Our home layout posed a challenging install but Radovent knocked it out of the park. We also had them seal a crack in our basement floor so we now have much more peace of mind. Lastly, as the crews were working the team made some observations in regards to potential sump pump upgrades and while the offered to do the work we did not feel pressured or like we were being upsold. We would absolutely recommend Radovent.

I called Elliott and Associates when a mitigation system installed by another company failed to lower the radon readings in our basement to acceptable levels. Elliott’s years of experience enabled him to diagnose the problem quickly; his technicians installed a second system in our garage, which dramatically reduced our radon levels and enabled us to reclaim our basement at long last. The technicians were prompt, professional, and informative. The radon level in my basement tested slightly above EPA limits so I called RadoVent for an estimate to fix the issue. Ryan came out to my house and after inspecting our basement and crawl space, he recommended we install a radon mitigation system. He explained everything that would be done, and he took the time to answer every question I had. The price was very competitive with another estimate I had received, so based on the excellent Reviews for RadoVent I chose them to do the work. I'm glad I did. The installation team showed up on time and did exactly what the estimate said would be done. I had the radon levels re-tested a few days later and the readings were well below EPA limits, in fact they were very close to zero. The only issue I had, and it was a minor one, was that one of my sump pumps had to be disconnected while the work was being done, and when it was re-connected it wasn't working properly. RadoVent was nice enough to pay for a technician to come to my home and fix the pump issue (it turned out to be only a loose connection) which was greatly appreciated. They stood by their work just like they said they would. I wouldn't hesitate to use RadoVent again if I ever need help with any radon issue.

Elliott and Associates is one of the most positive experiences I've ever had with a contractor. I had a radon mitigation system put in in Feb. 2022. My experience:1. Most importantly, the work was stellar. They went out of their way and spent extra-time to make the system exhaust piping inconspicuous on the exterior. In the basement, the work was minimally disruptive and the PVC pipe runs were efficient and well done. They did a good job of remembering to seal out of the way cracks that were found in an initial consultation. The work site was left very clean. HEPA vacuums were used for the safety of the workers and me when working with drilling (through the concrete slab and older toxic building materials). Finally, preliminary readings (with the caveat that its early still) from my home monitoring system show significant radon reduction.2. I have never seen a contractor provide so much (relevant and insightful) documentation. There was a lot of specific information on the system to be installed and contextual information about radon and the system in the proposal, as well as pages of references (Elliot has worked on many, many houses in my area) with starting radon level, among other things. I work in consulting , a documentation-heavy industry. Usually contractors are fly by the seat of their pants, but Elliot runs a well-oiled and sophisticated client-communications operation. This is a good thing. I found all of it enriching. Every aspect of the install was photographed and I received a report within 30 minutes of completion; I didn't even need to leave work to see how the installation had went. The tech sent me text updates on his progress. They came out quickly. I received appointment reminders. Everything was painless.3. All my needs were relayed to the techs installing the system. Oftentimes, the person you communicate with on a job is removed from the actual execution of it. This is usually an issue because any specifics you discuss with your contact do not get relayed to those who will implement it. If you have unique circumstances, it can be hard to get those taken care of. Elliot had relayed my detailed instructions to the tech who introduced himself and immediately rattled off the requests I had asked the office.In closing, and as the length of this review probably shows, I was very enthused by the work done by Elliot and Associates.

We were distraught to find out our new dream house had a dangerous radon level of over 14. Radovent was recommended by a friend and I'm glad it was. I happened to watch this company's video on radon monometer issues and called their phone number. My issue was that the tube from the pipe going to the monometer was not installed correctly and condensation went into the blue fluid of the u shaped plastic tube of the manometer displacing the blue mineral oil fluid into 2 columns. The gentleman answering my call helped me with this even though I live in Virginia. Really appreciate their help even though I was not their customer. I would recommend adding this issue to that U Tube video. I am sure I am not the only one. Thank you again !

My original test results for my basement locations were 4.4 and 8.8.After they installed the system, the results were 0.7 and 0.8 which is absolutely amazing, especially since outside air is 0.5.The crew was fantastic and put up with all my dumb questions throughout the whole process.

We had a home inspection done on the home we were selling and received a report late Wednesday evening that we needed Radon Mitigation prior to the sale being approved. We contacted Elliott on Thursday April 30th at 9:30am and explained our situation that we had movers lined up to move us from Elmhurst to Sarasota and we were moving prior to the closing. We wanted to make all of this happened and were had our backs against the wall if were were going to make the May 14th move. We explained our situation and because his crews were in training that morning he said he could be out by noon that day. They were out by noon and done by 4:00pm. Reasonable price. Clean - tarps everywhere - cleaned up after themselves and you didn't even know they had been there. The guys were very helpful in explaining what they were doing and what to expect - very professional! We had our re-test and passed with excellent re-test results. Without a doubt they get a 5!!

In the process of selling a home, there are hiccups! One that I encountered was the need to have radon mitigation.I explored various companies. A rep from Elliott & Associates came to view the home and by the end of the day, I had their estimate in hand. Elliott & Associates' professionalism, well-defined contract and clear communications brought me to select them.The men arrived when scheduled and went straight to work. It took 2 ½ hours and when they were done they cleaned up so well, it was impossible to see they had been there at all. The workers were dedicate specialists, as is Elliott and his staff.The mitigation was a success bringing the reading level down from 18.3 to 1.6. Thank you Elliott and crew for making this project seamless!I highly recommend Elliott & Associates to anyone needing radon mitigation. Highly recommend this company! Ryan came out to review the home layout and discussed several options with me. I went with the interior mitigation system as it reduces exposure to harsh elements and generally extends the lifeline of the fan.Two technicians came out for the install and walked me through the process before starting and provided me updates throughout. Both were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They completed the install in just a few hours.Reasonable price for the system and the company provides a generous guarantee on their work. I recently received the results from the test kits and my levels went from 6.6 to 0.4 which is basically the equivalent of outside air. Thank you!

Even though our house is not being sold, our radon levels were slightly above normal. We consulted with a well known home inspection company and they recommended Elliott if I wanted the best. True experts and professionals!!!We found out we had some radon when we bought the house. It was a low level, lower than the EPA's recommendation. But for peace of mind, with little kids we didn't chance it.Pricing was fair. They came in the lowest out of 3 vendors. And I was relentless with my Q&A's, and Elliot's explained the whole process, over and over.When they arrived the guys did such an amazing job! Their work was very precise and clean. The guys were very educated in this trade, real pros! And bonus, they were very genuine and sincerely nice guys!We've had several vendors and guests come in through our basement since they put in the system, and all have commented on how it "doesn't smell like a basement". There is a considerable difference in the humidity and moisture levels, too.Kudos to your Elliot & Associates! I highly recommend them! From beginning to end, it was a great experience!

Ryan showed at the scheduled date and time for the estimate and provided a concise, detailed contract of what type of work was needed Approving the contact and scheduling the work was also very easy. The installer (Adam) did a very fast professional job. After completing the work the areas were cleaned up nicely. Adam also explained, in detail, how the system is set up and how it runs.

I called RadoVent to get a second quote before deciding who to hire for my radon mitigation job - I am glad I got a second opinion! The price was about the same, a little cheaper, but the quality of the work and the way they treated us was amazing! Adam handled all of the curveballs in stride and somehow made a 30+ foot piece of white 3" pvc blend right into the basement! If I needed to hire someone again for this job, it would DEFINITELY be RadoVent!

My house has a both a crawlspace and basement slab. I tested for radon recently and the radon levels were over 9, so I called Radovent. They sealed the crawlspace with a plastic barrier, sealed the sump and edges of basement slab, and put suction points in the slab and under the plastic in the crawlspace with a fan outside. I worked with them to put the fan and vent exactly where I wanted outside so that it is tucked away in a back corner. The vent matches my gutter, so it's not very noticeable.My radon levels started dropping immediately after they left and are now 0.7 or lower. Also, I don't get any weird "crawlspace smell" downstairs anymore.The price was reasonable and the quality of work is high. I sleep better at night now after having this done.

Radovent is the best! Mike, our technician, was phenomenal. We used Radovent after another company left saying our house wasn't able to be mitigated. When I called Radovent the receptionist said they've never had a house they can't do and didn't see why ours would be different. She sent a guy to take a look that day and we set up for the install the next week. Mike went above and beyond and got a difficult job done right. Our numbers came back great and we'll be closing on the house next week. Thanks for an awesome job!

Our radon levels were within acceptable range when we purchased the home 1 1/2 years ago, but the previous owners had slightly evelated radon levels, which we found out that radon levels can fluctuate constantly. We thought it would be best to install a mitigation system to control the levels and ensure they remained very low.The guys at this company were very professional, thorough and courteous. I was very happy with the experience from the initial phone call to set up the appointment to the inspection of the home to the installation of the system. Do your self a favor and use Radovent!
