Grant in the office was patient with my phone calls and did a good job answering my questions. Joe and Eric installed a radon mitigation system for my house. They arrived on time, were professional in their demeanor, did an excellent job with the equipment installation, were thoughtful in thinking through different options, etc. but what matters even more: the radon level dropped from around 30pCi/L to around 1pCi/L. I wish I had had this done years ago and had not lived with radon at this level for 50 years. Thank you Protect Environmental!

The Protech service team was very professional and took the time to educate us about the process of mitigating radon in easily understandable terms. They provided several options in order to work around the particular challenges of our home.

Got a radon system placed at my residence in West Bloomfield, they got the levels from 7.8 to <0.2! I had a great experience with prompt response time, and good information. They placed a "hidden" radon system that goes through the attic instead of the back porch, it was worth the upgrade. The sump pump area is sealed tight and looks crisp! They did not charge me extra to come out to the house twice.

Easy to work with and came out within 48hours to install. The system immediately brought levels well within safe levels. Would recommend.

They were able to help finish solving my high radon in the winter problem (50+ pCi/L without mitigation) after 4 other companies in the area couldn't. I was stuck at not being able to get below 10 pCi/L due to the stacking effect with running the furnace. The meter now constantly reads below 1 pCi/L.

My long term average, over approx 6 month, was right around 4. After mitigation I saw immediate improvement within 48 hours. My daily average was ranging anywhere between 2-8 but After Protect Environmental I’m now at a 1. WOW! And it’s been raining for the last 3 days so that number is amazing. The technician needed some access, which I was able to provide him, and then he did what was promised. This shows they are willing to work with the customer. Super happy with the install as it is clean and hidden. Just what I wanted. Thanks Protected Environmental. Oh ya, and they sealed my sump. Your awesome! Adding to previous post: In April of 2026 will be 1 years since the system was installed. Look at the picture that shows radon level before April 2025 and up till today (January 2026). The data doesn’t lie. The system is working great. So happy I did this.

We had a great experience working with Protect Environmental and highly recommend them for their knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail. When we called them in, they quickly identified and corrected some issues with our existing system (which was installed by someone else), which cut our radon levels in half. When we were still getting slightly elevated readings, they came back out and added a second suction point, which did the trick. We were very happy with how this was done - they worked around some obstacles in our basement and still managed to put it in an unobtrusive place, and they were careful to clean up after themselves. Doyle and Joseph were so helpful and thorough. They clearly knew what they were doing and thought through all the considerations to make sure we had the best possible outcome. Communication with the office was clear and prompt, and both times the crew arrived when they said they would. No complaints!
