Honestly, I was so nervous about this entire project because I read so many horror story reviews online while researching various other places. I have ZERO complaints about the job done at my house. They did a quick and very thorough job. They left the job site spotless. I am so thrilled that my home was respected and I would recommend them for radon mitigation 1000 percent. Doug and Corey are the best! I'm sorry it took me so long to post my review! - Dana

After a bad experience with another Radon Compnay I decided to get a second opionion. Protect Environmental not only identified the issues the other company could not and did not address, but they came up with a more thorough and comprehensive plan. If you have an older home, Protect approaches things differently. Our house was built in 1947. Not all homes are the same, and they know that. They price fairly, are very professional, extremely knowledgeable and they did an excellent job with the installation and the cleanup. The electricians they sent over we're equally professional, knowledgeable and competent. They did an excellent job as well. I highly recommend. So far, the system is working great! UPDATE 3/16/20: System is still working great! No complaints whatsoever! UPDATE 9/24/26: Still working great!
Response from the owner:We appreciate your feedback, Brian. Different homes require different solutions - older homes can be challenging. We're glad we were able to fix your problem and give you the peace of mind you were seeking.

I contacted four different radon mitigation contractors before settling on Protect Environmental, and I could not be happier with my choice. Protect produced the lowest estimate, but after speaking with them several times and comparing their responses to those of other contractors and what I’d read about industry standards, I had no concerns about them compromising on quality. They explained their diagnostic and mitigation procedures clearly and answered all of my questions about designing systems that can pull air through even densely compacted soil, wiring into existing circuits, and conducting follow-up testing. Their responses gave me confidence that their team was well trained and well qualified. Corey was able to come install my system just two days after I decided to hire Protect Environmental. He arrived right on time, installed the system in half a day, and did a great job of showing me how everything worked, including the pressure gauge and the alarm. Kelly then completed the wiring. Both Corey and Kelly were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Protect Environmental to anyone who discovers that their home has a radon issue.

The sales process was ideal. Corey who handled the installation was on time, presentable, and thorough in his work. He also explained the installation process in detail, as well as how to operate and maintain the equipment. The electricians were equally as neat and thorough. Great work and thank you!

I chose Protect Environmental due to their responsiveness through the quoting process. Some radon companies want you to do your own testing before they’re interesting. Just nah to that. Protect performs testing first and refunds the fee if you have them install the system. Technicians Cory and Corbin did a great job and followed all of my specific routing instructions. Highly recommend!
Response from the owner:Hi Paul, Thank you for sharing such a detailed review and recommendation. We’re glad our team was responsive throughout the quoting and testing process, and that Cory and Corbin followed your routing instructions carefully during the installation. We truly appreciate your trust in Protect Environmental. – The Louisville Protect Environmental Team
