Without a doubt I would highly recommend Radon Be Gone as a way to make your home more safe. From the initial inspection to the installation to the f/u inspection everything was as promised. The two gentlemen that did the install worked though a HUGE rainstorm to get it done. I was very impressed with their work ethic. Our initial reading was an overall average of 7.9 . As of Monday it is 0.8.

The company was a pleasure to work with. The person who evaluated our house and wrote up the estimate was extremely professional and informative. The workmen who did the installation did a terrific job. And the follow-up report was detailed and informative. The Radon Be Gone installation took our radon level from 8.3 pCi/L down to 1.1 pCi/L, well below the EPA recommended level of 4 pCi/L.

I had Radon Be Gone come and provide me an estimate to remediate my home. Brad was very thorough and gave me an estimate that I approved. On Thursday July 2 the two technicians (Dylan and Nigee) came at the time agreed upon and performed the work in 3-4 hours. They were very professional and courteous. They left the 5 day continuous monitor and Brad came and picked it up on the 7th. I just received my report and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend using this company to remediate your homes radon issues.

Very reasonable price and excellent service. Brad Roebuck took the time to give me several options for where the pipe could be installed and thoroughly explained how the radon mitigation system works, including radon exposure risks and its health effects. The technicians, especially Dyllan Rose, were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Dyllan and his team explained the entire mitigation process clearly, kept me informed throughout the installation, and reviewed the warranty details with me. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing radon mitigation services.

If you're deciding which radon company to choose, I recommend Protect. I tried to go with another company originally and had a very bad experience. Protect is very thorough and really took the time to answer my questions and explain everything about the system to me. The estimator was very polite and knowledgeable. The installers were punctual, cleaned up the area they were working in, did a very neat install, and spent time showing me their work afterwards, which I really appreciated. They are about $150-200 more expensive than some other companies in town, but it is completely worth it. They also guarantee that your radon level will be < 4, and if it's not, they will come back and make changes at no extra cost. Not all companies in Columbus guarantee this. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Like many people, I was reminded of radon as an issue by a recent series in the Columbus Dispatch. Our 100 year old home has a finished basement. Protect Environmental set up monitoring equipment and determined that we had levels of around 10 pCi/L, something confirmed by a consumer grade monitor I purchased independently. Shad Evans of Protect Environmental helped determine where to install a mitigation system and exhaust pipe, something complicated by our house’s window, dormer and exterior utilities placement. Lead technician Larry and his colleague explained what they were doing, were extremely neat, and installed the system in a few hours time. The exhaust pipe placement in particular was thoughtfully done. The result… within 24 hours, the radon level was below 1.0 pCi/L and has remained there since installation. Excellent company.

The company did an excellent job of installing and explaining the radon mitigation system. They were able to get the radon levels from a starting point of 27 to under 1 after the system was installed. I have already recommended them to a neighbor.

Setting up the appointment was easy and able to be done fairly quickly. The technicians for the pre-install, full installation, and follow-up visits were very knowledgeable, friendly, and very thorough in their work and in answering our questions. Their explanations of the system and how it works and what to watch for were very clear. They were also very careful working in our home, and cleaned up the work areas well. We recommend them highly for RADON Mitigation work!

If I could, I'd give them a 10! From start to finish with a radon mitigation system installation, they were all very professional, friendly, welcoming of questions without impatience, and very communicative by email and texts. They instilled confidence that they know their stuff. Four days after they installed our mitigation system, our radon level dropped from a scary 53 pCi/L to 0.9 pCi/L. This company is great!

I have a slightly more complex setup with a crawl, newer perimeter French drain, finished basement, and egress window and Protect Environmental got my levels down from 11 to 1.5! Portia in the office is super friendly and responsive, and Brad and his team are extremely knowledgeable and hard working. They beat three other quotes I received, too. Couldn't be happier and would HIGHLY recommend!

Fine for installation but subsequent service is not the best. No idea when they will show up and communication is not the best.

I have discussed the situation with our office staff and I know that we narrowed down the arrival window to 12 - 2 based off the number of appointments that our estimator had for the day, unfortunately we do not know how long each appointment will take and today the estimator was running ahead of schedule and was not able to meet you. We did however talk with and provide feedback to Michael in regards to our findings and recommendations for next steps. noah and Ethan were very professional and friendly. I am 100% sure that the job that they have done will surpass anyone in the business. before they started they made sure all the details in the original estimate is what they are going to do. they informed me of the process and the time involved. they asked if I had any questions as they explained everything. once they finished they explained the operation of the system and checking of the sensor for me to observe regularly. they protected all the work areas with coverings. we're very satisfied and will recommend the company to others. thanks again.
