I contacted four different radon mitigation contractors before settling on Protect Environmental, and I could not be happier with my choice. Protect produced the lowest estimate, but after speaking with them several times and comparing their responses to those of other contractors and what I’d read about industry standards, I had no concerns about them compromising on quality. They explained their diagnostic and mitigation procedures clearly and answered all of my questions about designing systems that can pull air through even densely compacted soil, wiring into existing circuits, and conducting follow-up testing. Their responses gave me confidence that their team was well trained and well qualified. Corey was able to come install my system just two days after I decided to hire Protect Environmental. He arrived right on time, installed the system in half a day, and did a great job of showing me how everything worked, including the pressure gauge and the alarm. Kelly then completed the wiring. Both Corey and Kelly were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Protect Environmental to anyone who discovers that their home has a radon issue.

I chose Protect Environmental due to their responsiveness through the quoting process. Some radon companies want you to do your own testing before they’re interesting. Just nah to that. Protect performs testing first and refunds the fee if you have them install the system. Technicians Cory and Corbin did a great job and followed all of my specific routing instructions. Highly recommend!

Awesome installation of radon mitigation, very professional and capable, Mike and Corbin did a fantastic job!

Justin and Doug were professional throughout the entire process. The crew they partner with for installs was also professional and did a great job, getting everything installed quickly. In our case, they were able to install horizontally from the exterior of our home, avoiding the need to run piping inside. Since the install, our levels have dropped from between 4-6 pCi/L to between 0.3-0.8 pCi/L, averaging around 0.5 pCi/L, well below what is considered a healthy level (2.7 pCi/L). Highly recommended if you need radon mitigation done (and if you have a basement and spend much time in it, you probably do).

Go here FIRST! This company has the real experts! I have an older home and another reputable company could not figure out why our radon levels were so high (up to 30-50 units) AFTER installing a second remediation system. Protect Environmental did diagnostic testing the other company hadn’t, figured out the problems and fixed them. Radon is now below 1 throughout house. Couldn’t be any more thankful! Very professional and reliable. Fair prices! HIGHLY recommend! 😁
