They were outstanding to work with. When we moved into our house, we hired Protect Environmental (formerly known as Radon Be Gone) to activate the radon mitigation system. Basically, they added a fan to the pipe in the attic and sealed the sump well in the basement. Seven years later, everything is still going strong. I have them out every two years per EPA recommendations to check our radon level, and we consistently get a safe reading. Highly recommended.

Dyllan and Chris were a great team, they worked quick and took into consideration that we were going to get the basement finished. They explained everything to me and cleaned up after themselves exceptionally. Will recommend to anyone needing radon work done!

We recently had a radon system put in and the service was excellent. We had to have a faulty fan replaced within a few days of installing it and they were out that day to swap in a new fan. Follow-up and scheduling was prompt and courteous.

I purchased a home in Danville a few months ago which had readings over 100 prior to the purchase. A mitigation system was installed by another company prior to moving into the home and I were told that the radon issue had been resolved. After moving into the home, I discovered that the radon readings were still in the 25-30 range and I did not feel comfortable with that company's recommendations on the next steps to reduce radon who installed the initial system.I spoke with several radon companies regarding the next steps. Radon Be Gone, and specifically Shad, was recommended to me. Shad's interest in methodical diagnosis prior to implementing any solutions was a key reason for working with Radon Be Gone, and his expected costs were very competitive.Shad, Steve and Travis brought diagnostic equipment and their expertise, confirmed required airflow throughout the foundation, identified radon hotspots, discussed recommend solutions with me, and implemented those solutions that tied in with existing mitigation system and avoided cutting into finished basement (with one small exception): all in one day -- leaving the home clean.They continued testing for several days to insure that their improved mitigation solutions were working. Radon readings have consistently remained around 1 or less. The team greatly exceeded our expectations. We are EXTREMELY pleased with the outcome.

The estimator was extremely professional and provided detailed information regarding what needed to be done to lower the radon reading (10.9). Ours was a complicated job which involved an original basement, the basement under an addition and a crawl space. Two units were required. The installation team was efficient, very cooperative and professional. The basements were very clean after the installation. The installation foreman gave detailed information regarding maintenance. The testing scores for both units were significantly lower than the EPA standard (4.0). We are very pleased with the results.

Great experience. Not only did they come in and do the job, they made sure we understood next steps of yearly testing and what to do if we had to replace our sump pump. Our Radon levels went from an average of 18 to less than 1. Part of installation was coming back later to check levels.

I'd really like to commend RBG's customer service. The first visit did not fix the problem but they sent out another technician that immediately figured out a problem with the initial install. I really appreciate Radon Be Gone's dedication to customer service, especially in today's world where seemingly every company no longer provides the level of care deserved.We had our fan begin to go bad about a year after installation with a loud high pitch noise, and Radon Be Gone replaced it free of charge.I appreciate the frictionless effort it took to have them come out, inspect, and replace our unit.

Quick and easy installation and immediate results!

Brad did a great job explaining how mitigation would work, giving me an early ballpark estimate, and especially addressing my well-founded concerns about other issues with my basement that might affect the process. I definitely plan on having the work done once I am fully prepared for it.

I had a radon mitigation system installed on Feb 16, 2024. My radon levels went from 5.6 to 0.6. The fan they installed was quite loud. They came back the next week and determined the balancing was off, causing it be louder than usual, so they replaced it no questions asked. Now I can barely hear it. It took about 4 hours in total to install, and everyone was professional.

The original exhaust fan was too loud, and they upgraded it to the next higher-cost model without hesitation, charging only the difference in fan price. Also accommodated a small rerouting of an extraction pipe without hesitation. Professional and effective from start to finish. 18.5 pC/l before to <0.5 pC/l after, so the results are excellent.

Radon B Gone was the only radon company that I got an estimate for that understood how big my basement crawl space is and what to do to mitigate the radon. Their drawings were professional and accurate and their assessment of what was needed was much more comprehensive than any other company. After working another reputable radon company that seemed to miss a lot of issues in their estimate, I switched to Radon B Gone. They even replace a very shoddy vapor barrier that I just had done by a mold company. Radon Be Gone did a great job on both of my investment properties making them safe for the tenants. I couldn't be happier!

RBG-Protects service was outstanding from in home estimate through installation. Two crawlspaces & sump were mitigated with through the roof discharge. Basement radon went from 40 pCi/L to 1.2pCi/L. Installation was completed in 1 day and work area was left as clean as when the arrived. I would recommend RBG-Protect to any of my friends and relatives looking to reduce their home radon levels.

Before we even got started with the installation, they walked me through everything to the finest detail. When the installer showed up they were very open to ideas of where the pipe should go, provided a better suggestion to enhance anesthetics as well and worked very cleaningly by vacuuming and mopping up everything.The other thing I really loved was the constant communication, they had a real time map of where their insulation truck was as well as a lit of text based contact for quick information.

They surpassed all of my expectations, and at a much better price than others. They were extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the diagnostics, solution, and system. I wish more companies operated with Radon Be Gone's level of knowledge and transparency!
